Overview

Brill E-Book Collections offer access to over 2,500 scholarly monographs, edited volumes and handbooks published from 2007 onwards by the imprints Brill, Martinus Nijhoff and VSP.
The wideranging electronic publishing programme comprises the humanities and the social sciences (Ancient Near East and Egypt; Middle East and Islamic Studies; Asian Studies; Classical Studies; Medieval and Early Modern Studies; Biblical and Religious Studies; Slavic Studies; Language & Linguistics), international law and human rights, biology as well some selected areas in the natural sciences.

Brill E-Book Collections also include 95 publications from the newly acquired imprint Global Oriental focusing on the fields of Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Central Asian studies.

Brill E-Book Collections are published as annual subject collections by copyright year or by combined copyright years with no overlap of titles between collections. The E-Book Collections are priced at 70% of the price of the same collection of titles in print format and are available for a one-time purchase fee.

Brill E-Book Collections are supplemented by around 500 new publications each year.

Brill offers its E-Book Collections as an outright purchase for a onetime fee giving the institution full archival rights.

An annual hosting fee is charged from year 2 onwards. For 2011, the hosting fee is EUR 100 per collection, capped at EUR 500 per institution.

All fees are based on an unlimited site license including remote access.

- Consortial discount from 15% to 30% dependent upon the number of collections purchased per participant and the total number of participants

- No annual hosting fee, if a minimum of 4 participants is reached

- Order minimum of 2 E-Book Collections (any combination of copyright years and subjects)
- Eligible institutions: Libraries, universities and non-academic institutions in Germany and Austria

- Offer valid for orders placed until 30th November 2011
