Founded by Louis Littman in memory of his father to explore, explain, and perpetuate the Jewish heritage, the Littman Library of Jewish Civilization published its first book in 1965. The Littman E-Library was launched in March 2017, giving readers access to the definitive scholarship and careful editing that characterize Littman books, but on a fully searchable digital platform.
