Verlagsinformation :: Publisher's information The Publications romanes et françaises collection is the oldest Droz collection, created in 1930 and dedicated to the Middle Ages. Today directed by Jean-René Valette, professor of medieval French literature at the Sorbonne, the collection has welcomed and continues to welcome excellent works by French-speaking medievalists on authors such as Christine de Pizan, John of Salisbury, Chrétien de Troyes or Marie de France, and on subjects as diverse as the traces of Antiquity in the Middle Ages, the Apocalyptic imagination in the French literature of the XIIth and XIIIth century, or the punctuation of medieval works. Nearly a hundred publications from the last thirty-five years, thirty thousand pages in total, are available on this new portal. An impressive and indispensable body of knowledge.
