Inhalt :: Content Historisch-kritische Gesamtausgabe der Briefe des britischen Schriftstellers Samuel Richardson (1689–1761). Die Edition ist thematisch und chronologisch gegliedert. Einige der wichtigsten Bände behandeln die Korrespondenz mit der Familie Wescomb, Briefe zu seinen Romanen Pamela und Clarissa sowie seine berufliche Korrespondenz, die auch die damalige Verlags- und Druckwelt beleuchten. Die Briefe zeigen Richardsons umfangreiches soziales Netzwerk, zu dem prominente Persönlichkeiten wie Samuel Johnson oder die „Bluestockings“ gehörten.
