The Supplements to Brill’s Encyclopedia of Global Pentecostalism (BEGP) are a comprehensive, multidisciplinary resource offering global perspectives on Pentecostalism. They extend the Encyclopedia with longer articles, focussing on Pentecostalism from regional perspectives. Featuring contributions from international scholars, as BEGP, the Supplements highlight the diversity and transnational character of Pentecostalism.

BEGPS offers new and innovative assessments of worldwide Pentecostalism, organized around eight world regions: Central, Eastern, and Southern Africa, Western and Northern Africa and the Middle East, East Asia, South and Central Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, and Europe.

The Supplements focus on marginalized regions and underrepresented movements, exploring their histories, theologies, and global relations. They highlight how Pentecostalism is locally embedded yet globally connected through diverse networks.

Pentecostalism is viewed as both local and global—diverse in belief, ecclesiology, and practice, shaped by distinct social, cultural, and political contexts. Each volume will address historical developments, theological and spiritual forms, interreligious and ecumenical relations, and interactions with social institutions including politics, economics, education, media, and culture. Collectively, BEGPS will deepen understanding of how global Pentecostalism functions across varied contexts while remaining part of a dynamic and interconnected Christian movement.
